DEFIBTECH LifeLine AED Semi-automatic Defibrillator

Life Saving Technology within Reach

Technologically advanced enough to include all mission critical features necessary to provide the most advanced treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest, yet so simple and unintimidating to use that even non-medical personnel can effectively save lives.

It’s important to define the difference between a heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest.
A heart attack is a plumbing problem: an artery leading to the heart becomes clogged, causing insufficient blood supply to the heart. Sudden cardiac arrest is an arrhythmia, a disorder of the heart’s electrical activity causing an abnormal heart beat. CPR alone can’t save an arrhythmia victim because only a defibrillator can “reboot” the heart, making it beat normally again. Every minute the heart is not beating lowers the odds of survival by 7 to 10%. After 10 minutes without defibrillation very few people survive.

Defibtech’s lightweight device and sure-grip rubberized handle make it easy to pull the AED off the wall and transport it to a patient. A calm voice guides the responder through each step, reinforced by a text display with lights to show the progress. Electrode pads are tucked into a back pocket, ready to apply, and large, clearly illuminated “Power On” and “Shock” buttons help even the most nervous fingers hit their mark.

The Defibtech AED:

  • Provides step-by-step instructions that are loud and clear - even when
there's a lot of ambient noise

  • Ranks as the top choice of many First Responders

  • Has 5+ years of field-proven durability - including rigorous use in military settings

  • Offers convenient SD card for no-charge upgrades when CPR guidelines change

  • Features a brightly lit Active Status Indicator powered by a 9V battery,
allowing the main battery to remain fully charged to save a life

  • Has lowest overall cost of ownership of all AEDs in its class
