Eliminates carrying a separate monitor
The CoZmonitor® blood glucose module easily attaches to the back of the Deltec Cozmo® insulin pump and communicates with the pump via infrared technology. The CoZmonitor® module is very slim and sleek, about the size of a few sticks of gum. As the first ever "all-in-one" blood glucose monitor and insulin pump, patients no longer need to carry a separate blood glucose monitor because the two are combined into one.
Real-time blood glucose results
Using infrared technology to communicate information from the CoZmonitor® module to the Deltec Cozmo® pump eliminates the need to manually transfer blood glucose readings to the pump, ensuring
quick and easy insulin delivery. After a patient inserts a FreeStyle® test strip and tests a blood sample, the CoZmonitor® module instantly sends real-time blood glucose results to the Deltec Cozmo® pump
that can be viewed immediately on the pump's display screen. The patient can then choose whether or not to return to the home screen, deliver a correction bolus, or deliver a meal bolus.
